Positive? Was launched by the All Party Parliamentary Group on HIV and AIDS and the PSHE Association in 2012. The resource has the support of The British HIV Association (BHIVA). It was produced by AyeDear Productions and Film Education to meet learning gaps established by the research carried out by The People Living with HIV Stigma Index in the UK. Positive? Can support teachers and youth workers to deliver highly effective lessons within a number of curriculum based subject areas such as;
PSHE: Sexual intelligence and wellness
Citizenship: Human rights and sexual rights
English/Media: Campaigning and Criminalisation
Science: Transmission, infection, treatment
These are divided into easy to use lesson plans with comprehensive teacher’s notes which can be found in the teacher’s zone: http://www.learningpositive.com/teacherszone/index.html
