Feminist Fightback Film Club Presents: Love and Revolution
Two months since the election of the conservative government in Greece, and repression of worker’s rights and autonomous initiatives has begun. Police have invaded the neighbourhood of Exarcheia in Athens and have started shutting down the migrant solidarity squats, sending migrants to detention centres and arresting squatters.
In solidarity with comrades in Greece, for our September film club we’ll be screening Yannis Youlountas’ 2018 documentary Love and Revolution, a testimony of radical autonomous organising in Greece.
Exhibiting anger/ joy during the film at oppressive behaviour/ high points of struggle very much encouraged. We will have a discussion after the film.
Suggested donations on the door £2/3/5 un/low/higher waged. Drinks and snacks available. Accessibility information for the venue at: www.commonhouse.org.uk/book-
